I would really love to do something like this to my daughters hair, but it’s just so fine and so curly anytime I do brighter hair. It just looks so fuzzy and frizzy immediately like one day later so I’m 100% Puerto Rican and her dad is west African. I really admire you ladies you got a lot of patience, I watch a lot of these videos to learn different patterns in my heart knowing that I’m gonna work my ass off for one day of nice hair

i feel like if someone said my baby looked grown over a lil extension or some braids that says more about them than it does me. people complained to beyonce about not putting weave in blue ivy hair, but now black folk are learning its ok for their kids to be cute and kid friendly and now everyone got something slick to say like... nah my kids hair will be cute and thats just how its gonna be

I’m here because I have 17 more to old with really thick but curly hair and when I braid it it unravels and I put beads in the end the beads slipped out the pony tails don’t last her hair don’t last no more than 24 hours lol PLUS I said okay maybe she’ll wear a curly fro , Nope she look like no one loves her lollll so now I don’t feel to bad about adding a lil weave to her braids so it can last a lil longer

I love being a girl mom. My son get braids too but I get to be more creative with my daughter and use accessories so it's a plus. Your daughter's hair looks amazing and healthy 🥰
